i've been away from home for almost 5 weeks with my band and it's pretty amazing... I didn't think that I would be able to visit some of the places that we have and I'm so thankful that I have a working van and four of my best friends. On another note, I'm getting pretty skinny from not eating on tour due to being broke but I guess that's how it goes. I can't wait to come back to Bradenton on May 5th!! I'm also starting to write a book, I don't know what it's going to be about but i'm going to call it My Pretty Blue Eyes, mostly a journal format on how I see the world through my two eyes. I don't think it will be anything spectacular, just something fun for me to have. We are recording an acoustic record in Ohio in a few days so we will try to post some songs :)

www.myspace.com/brokenimageFL

add it!

-Travis

<lj:music>whatever you people want me to hear</lj:music>

so i started thinking the other day that what if life was just you and everyone/everything was just actors and actresses. Your entire life was just a study on how this person will live and die. And then i started to think about how much effort would have to go into a project like that. Everyone you see driving on the interstate, on TV in large crowds, Airports, and everything else... These people would be acting just in case you were to randomly show up anywhere in the world at any time. Just as you pass someone walking they turn and look at you as if they know something about you that you're not supposed to know. Then just as I was digging deeper into my theory I saw a pregnant woman walk by me. I started realizing how weird babies are and how they just appear. Even weird enough I started thinking that when guys have sex/masterbate are they performing an abortion? each "load" carries at least 240 opportunities to create life with the proper interaction of the right egg... soooo, every time a guy shoots his load he kills 240 babies...haha this is weird because each day there are millions of babies killed without anyone knowing about it... How deep will the anti-abortion people look into this, they say that the baby has heart waves and brain waves after like 6 weeks or something but I'm pretty sure that no one remembers anything that happens within that time so what they are really saying is that you are killing what the baby COULD become. So I wonder if they will ever campaign against male masterbation and start throwing 13 and 14 year old kids in jail for murder!! hahaha...anyways going back to what I was saying before about people acting in your life. Everyone would know that I am writing a post and there are a few people who are required to leave a comment and those who are not. But what would happen if I did something that was totally unexpected...would anyone break character, or would they be completely prepared for that kind of mistake and play it off perfectly so that there would be no way I could possibly figure out that I was being watched by everyone in the world... A good...great movie is the truman show with Jim Carrey, it had a lot of the same theories. I'm not going to say sorry for the long post because I think excuses are for the emotionally weak...which brings me to my last opinion...why do people have to say "no, because i...." If my boss asks me to work and I say "no", it's always like he's waiting for something else... why can't it just be 'yes' 'no' or 'i don't know'??

okay so i'm 20 and i figured i would buy some things. I have everything it takes to create a full song right here in my orlando apartment with a computer, guitar, and keyboard. I need your advice about the songs that i've recorded so far.

http://www.purevolume.com/thiseveningkiss

Also, sasha sings in one of the songs and it's really pretty...anywho this is not really a serious project I just wanted to hear what everyone thought about it.

TYPE OF MUSIC- 1st song- electronic hardcore 2nd & 3rd song are very electronic indie.

All songs are inspired solely by Drew Thomsen
